RESORT

Warm and inviting log cabin made from generous amounts of Canadian pine

The cabin, designed after a Canadian log house, is built with large Canadian logs imported from Canada, which is why we chose to use the "maple," also the motif for the Canadian flag, for our logo and name.
The name also reflects the fact that there were many maple forests in the Moyo area, once upon a time.

Maple Lodge

Yasuhiro Iida

It is said that maple trees used to flourish in the Moyo area. Modeled after a log house in Canada, this hotel was built using Canadian logs. Therefore the hotel was named "Log Hotel Maple Lodge."
"Maple Lodge" opened in October 1994 in Moyo-cho in the lush green part of eastern Iwamizawa City. It is a log hotel built with large numbers of logs manually processed in Canada. The hotel features a restaurant, banquet halls, training rooms as well as 15 accommodation spaces: authentic country-style guest rooms (seven standard twin rooms and six deluxe twin rooms), Silver Pine (a log cottage) and White Birch (a suite with a private sauna). The slimy hot spring water containing sodium bicarbonate reputedly smooths the skin, leaving an unforgettable impression. The abundant hot spring water is 100% natural, and cypress, granite and open-air baths are available in addition to an authentic Finish sauna, which rejuvenate the body. Have the fatigue of daily life relieved while relaxing in this warm log hotel.
The vast grounds encompass seven tennis courts (four outdoor courts covered with artificial grass and sand, a sunken center court and two indoor courts), as well as a 4 hectare-wide lawn and "Apple Garden," Maple Lodge's orchard where visitors can pick apples, all providing opportunities for recreational activities and personal interactions. There is also a walking path on the premises where visitors can enjoy the rich natural surroundings. The restaurant's dishes made with local ingredients are also highly sought after.
Glamping can also be enjoyed in these beautiful natural forest surroundings. We are looking forward to serving you.
